While his alignment is with Neutral Good, personality wise Sairin leads towards true neutrality. While he is aware that evil behavior and repurcussions exist for those who choose to perform such acts, he is often unsure whether or not it is anyone's, let alone his, responsibility to set these things right. While incapable of watching a person needlessly suffer, he also does not seek out conflict, and sometimes imagines himself as a happier person if he could simply wander the world with the freedom to learn what he wished.
He is slow to anger, but harbors a fierce loyalty to those he would call friend, collecting companions as easily as he masters new techniques. His Rinnegan eyes have not made him cocky, as he has a strong understanding of the value hard-work and training posess and the advantage they can give a less naturally inclined ninja in the battlefield. Unfortunately, his often idealistic aspirations of true peace often cause him to hesitate before acting on his desires, masking frustration with thoughtful looks and the signature clicking of his teeth. Sairin's personal katana was at first, the property of the enigmatic Fire Damiyo's personal collection of war memorabilia from the First Great Shinobi War. The engraving on its blade depicts the legendary creature the blade is named after. Gashadokuro (がしゃどくろ) are giant skeletons, often fifteen times taller than an average person. If a gashadokuro sees a human, it will grab it and bite its head off if it does not flee quickly. Gashadokuro are created from gathering bones from people who have died of starvation. The only way a gashadokuro can be detected before it appears is by hearing a ringing in one's ears.

Special: The shikomizue (仕込み杖?, literally "prepared cane") is a Japanese concealed sword disguised as a cane or walking stick, similar to the swordstick. It was used mostly by the shinobi. It is most famous for its use by the fictional swordmaster Zatoichi. The name shikomi-zue is actually the name of a type of mounting; the sword blade was placed in a cane-like mounting (tsue), to conceal the fact that it was a sword. These mountings are not to be confused with the Shirasaya mountings, which were just plain wooden mountings with no decorations. Some shikomi-zue also concealed metsubushi, chains, hooks, and many other things. The shikomi-zue could be carried in public without arousing suspicion.

Intelligent and kind, he has been branded a genius often by those who meet him, and a fierce opponent by those who have faced him in combat. He is level-headed and rational, turning to philosophy often, and attempting to solve problems through diplomacy and conversation before resorting to violence. A clever tactician and battle strategist as well, he is one of the most gifted students to ever graduate the Konoha Academy, carrying this title without conceit or pointless competitiveness.
Weaknesses:
He has developed the tendency to over-think situations; his love for philosophy often contributing to missed opportunities and a more rigid character of being. His relationship with the late Hokage also caused him to develop a fascination with the female sex, (and with sex in general) as he views his new position as a small obstacle to overcome when faced with the opportunity to 'get acquainted' with kunoichi. He is easily distracted by differing points of view, and has been known to stop mid-battle in order to carry out a conversation or debate. As the only known possesor of the Rinnegan, he can be overwhelmed with feelings of loneliness, isolating himself for hours at a time in situations where he has been in the company of others with clan and family. As the new Hokage, he is known to spread his affections to his all female assistants a little too much.
History:Sairin lived in the Forest of Death as a feral child, the property of the Land of Fire, wandering for years unaware of where he had come from or what had happened to his parents. He was found by Karin Harada, at the time not yet Hokage, but a young Kunoichi of Konohagakure, a new Chuunin training her chakra control on one of the forests massive trees. The young girl took him in and brought him back to the village, but could not bridge the gap between what he felt were only strange noises, and what she heard as animal-like grunts issuing from the boys snarled lips. He was kept under the watch of her own team, consisting of herself, a young prankster and powerful ninja medic named Ozutsu Kana, and a young man with long black hair and piercing eyes, an unforgiving look on his face. The third member of her team and a man she would come to love... ...Taiken Uchiha. Sairin would sit in on Team 9's training session, avidly watching, seeming to comprehend the very nature of their movements and abilities without speaking or understanding them, sometimes clicking his teeth in amusement. It wasn't until Taiken, frustrated at his failure to fully comprehend the intricacies of the Boil Release, lashed out and attacked Sairin, who had begun laughing at him as he watched. Taiken used his Katon Release to unleash the Great Fireball Technique, and as the flame flew at impossible speed towards the small child Karin and Ozutsu froze in amazement as... ...the boys eyes grew a ripple pattern and he stared at the fireball, holding up a single hand that seemed to absorb the chakra of the technique, extinguishing the flame instantly, and causing him to double over with delight, giggling childishly. As Taiken stormed off without apologizing, Karin recognized the Rinnegan eye within him, taking him to Hayato Hyuuga, then Hokage, to enroll him in the Konoha Ninja Academy. He learned to speak with others easy enough, his dojutsu allowing him to understand language, dialect, ninjutsu, the art of illusion, combat; all came effortlessly. In three years he graduated the ninja academy head of his class, always watched over by Karin Harada, whose own career had led her, along with the rest of Team 9, to come to be known as the Legendary Sannin of Konoha. Once Karin had been elected as Hokage, Sairin could not have been prouder, and he began to show signs of sharing her aspirations, though he often felt the fear and scorn of others, as his Rinnegan made him an outcast, incapable of 'slowing down' his enhanced learning process and progress with other shinobi. He would look up to Karin for the next few years, until the fateful day Taiken Uchiha's arrival at the Five Kage Summit, and he learned that his mentor, his friend, and his idol, was slain in cold blood by the man she'd given her heart to. Sairin took it upon himself to learn the Six Paths, what Karin had told him was the "forbidden" area of his Rinnegan eyes. He vowed to avenge her at any cost, risking his own body to access reserves of chakra considered dangerous by his various sensei's. The Water Release (Suiton; "Water Style") area of elemental Nature Transformation are techniques that allow the user not only to manipulate but (in the case of a master) generate water as well. Possibly the most versatile of the five basic chakra natures, Water Release techniques can not only change shape but form as well. The affinity for Water Release is common to shinobi of Kirigakure.
Water Release will naturally extinguish fire (though a sufficiently powerful technique can cause evaporation) but will naturally be overcome by earth. When Water Release techniques are combined with Wind Release techniques, the concussive and overall destructive power is vastly increased. Water-natured chakra is also a component of four different kekkei genkai namely Boil Release, Ice Release, Wood Release, and Storm Release.

The Fire Release (Katon;"Fire Style") area of elemental Nature Transformation are offensive-type techniques that allow the user to create fire by increasing the temperature of their chakra. Commonly affiliated with the Tiger hand seal, Fire Release techniques are mid-to-long-ranged that cause burning and destructive damage. Fire Release Ninjutsu is common among Konohagakure ninja, the Uchiha Clan were known to be especially proficient with its use.
Fire Release is strong against wind; because wind naturally feeds fire but weak against water due to its ability to extinguish the flames. When used in either a combination or a fusion, a Fire Release technique augmented by wind can be strong enough to evaporate its natural weakness of water as in the case of the former or it can be used to produce both Lava Release with earth and Boil Release with water as in the case of the latter.

The Wind Release (Fuuton;"Wind Style") area of elemental Nature Transformation are offensive type techniques that allow the user to manipulate wind by shaping their chakra to be as sharp and as thin as possible, not unlike the blades of a pair of scissors.
The rarest (though the affinity appears to be common among ninja of Sunagakure) of the five basic elemental chakra natures, Wind Release techniques are suited for short-to-mid-range combat, and combine brute force and precision to deal cutting and slashing damage. Users can even channel wind-natured chakra into blades to increase their range and cutting power. Wind Release manipulation is achieved by learning how to split a leaf in two with chakra and then learning to halt the flow of water.
Wind Release is naturally strong against lightning, but likewise, Wind Release is also naturally weak against fire. In the case of a combination, it augments the strength of a Fire Release technique as well as increases the concussive power of a Water Release technique.
In the case of a fusion, wind-natured chakra when mixed with water-natured chakra produces Ice Release.

The Sound Release (Ototon No Jutsu; Sound Style) was developed by an unknown member of the Hebinoyo Clan, who founded the village of Otogakure shortly after a tirade of experiments on the villagers which resulted in the 'discovery' of this new release. Upon further investigation by ANBU and ROOT faction shinobi, it was discovered that the Sound Release has always been available to all ninja and non-ninja alike, and its intricacies were simply being over-shadowed by the physiological modifications of the experimented upon victims. Recently, several individuals have been born with a natural affinity for the Sound Release, and it has been added to the official listing of 'basic' elemental natures.

Effect: The activation of the Rinnegan eye, this allows the user enhanced vision, allowing them to see, understand, and interpret chakra. They eye takes on a ripple like pattern with alternating patterns of white and purple sclera that is different for each user. The user activates the Rinnegan eye and gains a 180 Degree field of perfect vision. This field stretches out for 100 meters. Through their ability to see, understand, and interpret chakra, they will see genjutsu in its pure chakra form, and are thus immune to its effects. They are also granted the ability to see through objects and people, and are capable of tracking the heat signatures of living creatures. The eye gives the user enhanced analytical and predictive abilities as well, and confers 'photographic reflexes'. This allows the user to perform any action that they have seen perfectly, and by the Rinnegan giving them the ability to learn any release, they are capable of duplicating or negating an attack almost instantaneously, once higher levels are reached. The Rinnegan must be activated for all other bloodlimit techniques to work.
Technique: Handseals. Once the 'S' Rank of Rinnegan is learned, the user no longer needs handseals to perform Rinnegan Jutsu.
Restrictions: Unlike the Byakugan, the user CANNOT see into the Chakra circulatory system, and cannot see behind themselves.
Degeneration Sutra

Effect: Degeneration Sutra is the major drawback of the power of the Rinnegan Eye. All Rinnegan Eye users experience a state of physical decay that is augmented hazardously by their usage of the Rinnegan Eye. User has 1,000 Slots. Each time the Rinnegan is used/activated, the user undergoes cellular degeneration equivalent to the loss of a number of Slots dependent on rank.

Effect: After performing the necessary handseals, the Rinnegan user is able to convert their opponents physical mass into chakra, whereby this chakra is absorbed directly into their eyes. As such, the opponent must be in line of sight with the user. The conversion is a delicate process that takes one whole turn to perform, and will be disturbed if the opponent has sufficient brain activity and/or chakra control to stop the process. As such, the user is able to replenish the slots taken by Degeneration Sutra after battle. The corresponding rank of this technique is automatically learned once the user reaches the equivalent character rank. The opponents body is engulfed in light that begins at the heart and soon expands out to encompass the entire body. A swirling motion begins as a miniature like vortex is created that draws the resultant light into the users eye with a disgusting sucking sound. The users already chakra-infused blood is rejected by the conversion process, and sprays out as the only physical remains of the body, outside of the clothes and personal affects.
Technique: Handseals. Cannot be performed during battle, can only be used once an opponent is killed/incapacitated.
Restrictions: All Rinnegan User's possess Rinnegan Cannibalization.
Shiranui (Mysterious Lights On The Sea)

Effect: This is a technique that allows the user to cancel one D Rank attack of any type, by coating themselves in a layer of multi-colored absorption-type chakra. This technique activates automatically, and will cancel the first D Rank offensive technique thrown at the user. An automatic shield that works regardless of the user's will. If an attack higher than D is thrown, it will take away a D-Ranks worth of the inflicted damage.
Technique: Automatically performed once user has Rinnegan active and is attacked.

Tachianin No Jutsu (Observer's Technique)

Effect: Allows the user the ability to summon an enormous demonic entity known as the King of Hell, possessed of it's own unique abilities. The King of Hell is actually not a living creature, rather a partially physical chakra construct of vast complexity whose design is different for each user of the Rinnegan. It must be constructed before the user attempts to summon it.
Technique: Handseals. The Naraka Path's abilities lie in summoning an enormous creature called The King of Hell. The King of Hell has both the abilities to consume a persons life essence, killing them, and the ability to heal others completely by injecting the life force essence of those its consumed into a persons body. This technique is typically used to heal the users body, if significantly damaged. The King of Hell itself seems to be invulnerable. The healing ability can be stretched to encompass the re-animation of dead corpses...though these corpses are given their own Rinnegan eyes and placed under the control of the user. While the King of Hell is summoned, no one on the field, not even the user, can mold chakra.
Restrictions: User must have the Rinnegan Eye. User must have The Six Paths Technique.

Effect: This is the beginning Samurai sword stance allowing for maximum efficiency with/for the Satsujinken Shiden style. This offers the user the ability to attack and defend at a second's notice, and lowers their center of gravity to better accept incoming attacks and to deal the maximum amount of damage once they begin attacking.
Technique: The Samurai's two swords are carried one on each side of the waist. The samurai stands with their legs bent, feet shoulder width apart but with the dominant foot in front of the other. Their arms are crossed in front of their body, hands touching the handles of each respective blade. This position allows for the quick drawing of both swords to effectively utilize the dual sword style of Satsujinken Shiden.
Restrictions: Is a base tech that must be learned to perform all other Satsujinken Shiden techniques.

The user will then draw these swords and make an "X" in the air in front of themselves with the held blades.

Chakura Fuyasu (Chakra Augmentation)

This is a passive ability that remains active until the user chooses to dispel it. The chakra coating the sword has a small capability of cutting through pure chakra attacks of the same rank. Shunshin No Jutsu (Body Flicker Technique)Rank: C x 6 + 600Type: Taijutsu Class: Supplementary Range: 5 Meters Effect:This jutsu is a high-speed movement technique, allowing a ninja to move short to long distances at an almost untraceable speed. To an observer, it appears as if the user has teleported. It is often accompanied by a puff of smoke. Technique: It is accomplished by using chakra to temporarily vitalise the body and move at extreme speeds. The amount of chakra required depends on the overall distance and elevation between the user and their intended destination. This technique must be learned multiple times in order to truly master. Each time used, it does not take up a movement. When first learned, the user is able to move five meters in any direction near instantaneously up to 3 times a day. Each additional training gives the user 1 more time they are capable of using the technique. This technique can only be used an equivalent number of times to the users TOTAL MOVEMENTS per round. (i.e. A Pure Tai Affinity Ninja at S Rank is allowed 14 movements per round. They are capable of learning Shunshin 14 times, meaning they are capable of near instantaneous motion within 70 meters.) The King of Hell has no personality; it is not a living summons so much as a chakra construct infused with its own primordial sense of instruction and purpose, bound to obey the desires of the particular Rinnegan User who summons it onto the field.

History
The King of Hell, while used by the Naraka Path, is in and of itself commonly referred to as The Outer Path (外道, Gedō). It has control over Life and Death. When used by the Naraka Path, it's used for interrogation and rejuvenation.
It is used by the Naraka Path for interrogation and is capable of discerning whether an individual is lying or not. When implemented on a target, a serpent-like apparition of their life force energy emerges from their mouth and presented to the figure. The Outer Path then proceeds to pass its judgment on the victim. If they are lying (or refuse to answer the question), their life force energy is consumed and they die. If the target is telling the truth, they don't die, though they're left extremely exhausted. When the Naraka Path uses this technique, the figure possesses the Rinnegan similar to how the Animal Path's summons all possess the Rinnegan. The Outer Path can only be seen by the ones it's being used upon.
For its second ability, the Outer Path can repair physical wounds to its users should they be damaged. While the Outer Path is being used for this, it seems that others are able to see it, unlike when it is being used for interrogation purpose.
Lastly, the Outer Path can be summoned for the Outer Path: Samsara of Heavenly Life Technique, where its user can release life force energy to people who were recently killed and allow their souls to return to their rejuvenated bodies. This power is said to transcend even the very concepts of life and death.
Jutsu: Blister NarakaRank: S Type: Kinjutsu Class: Passive Range: --- Effect: All living creatures in the surrounding area (with the exception of Tailed Beasts) are completely unable to mold chakra in any way, while the King of Hell is on the field. This reduces the combat abilities of all those in play to Taijutsu or Non-specialized weapons Taijustsu. All ambient chakra is absorbed directly into the King of Hell. Thi Technique: This technique requires no handseals and is a passive and always active function of the King of Hell. The King of Hell does not run out of chakra, so it does not have to worry about chakra expenditure. Restrictions: This technique does not discriminate between friend or foe; not even the Rinnegean user themselves can mold or manipulate chakra. This extends to the use of bloodlimit abilities, doujutsu, etc, and will absorb the effects of any incoming or delayed effect chakra techniques as well. Burst Blister NarakaRank: S Type: Kinjutsu Class: Offensive, Supplementary Range: --- Effect: An interrogation technique used to determine if someone is lying, this allows the King of Hell the ability to work in conjunction with the Naraka Path. Technique: To interrogate, the Naraka Path need only catch hold of a person, causing the Outer Path to appear before them. With the victim seemingly paralyzed, the Naraka Path begins questioning them. After answers are given, the King of Hell will unzip its mouth to release tendril-like arms and would draw out the victim's life force energy from their mouth. The Outer Path then proceeds to pass its judgment. If the person was lying or refused to answer the questions, the Outer Path would remove their life force energy and consume it, killing them. However, if they told the truth, they would be spared, although left extremely exhausted. Restrictions: Can only be used when the Naraka Path is in use. Shivering NarakaRank: S Type: Kinjutsu Class: Supplementary Range: --- Effect: The second ability the Naraka Path possessed is the ability to repair any damage. This ability allows the King of Hell (Outer Path) to work in conjunction with the Naraka Path to heal anyone (usually the Rinnegan User) completely from any and all damage. Technique: To do so the Naraka Path has the Outer Path ingest the damaged body with its tendril-like arms into its mouth. Then, after some time, the destroyed body will emerge from its mouth, completely healed and rejuvenated. In order to heal minor injuries, 1 post is needed. In order to heal medium-type injuries, 2 posts are needed. In order to heal major and near-fatal injuries, 3 Posts are needed. Restrictions: This technique CANNOT heal the Rinnegan User from the effects of the Degeneration Sutra and DOES NOT restore slots. Lamentation NarakaRank: S Type: Kinjutsu Class: Offensive Range: 50 Meters Effect: Causes the King of Hell to flail its tendril-like arms, damaging opponents. Technique:The King of Hell will unzip its mouth to reveal tendril like arms which begin to braid themselves together, coated in chakra. Once having formed a massive tendril arm, the King of Hell will thrash about, hitting anyone within range (With the exception of the user). This tendril attacks with an S ranks worth of damage, and is quite capable of killing weaker opponents in one blow. The technique can only be dodged with high-speed movement techniques such as Shunshin, and even so, the chakra coating over the tendril extends out and is quite capable of hitting moving targets as well, though with a reduced amount of damage. The tendril arm is approximately 10 meters thick and extends for 50 meters, with a range of motion allowing it to hit anything within this radius with ease. Restrictions: Chattering Teeth NarakaRank: S Type: Kinjutsu Class: Offensive Range: 50 Meters Effect: The King of Hell spits projectile fang-shaped constructs of chakra which are 1 meter large at a target. These projectiles move with the equivalent speed of a thrown kunai. Each time used, 5 of these projectile fangs are created. These projectiles are always aimed at the heart of an opponent, as they are drawn to the chakra centers of an opponents body. Technique: These can be shot off and aimed to focus in one one target (where they do an S ranks worth of damage combined) or shot at multiple targets (where each shard does approximately a C-B ranks worth of damage, depending on the opponents distance from the King of Hell. Restrictions: Can only use for two turns consecutively, then requires a period of rest that is 1 turn long. Great Lotus NarakaRank: S Type: Kinjutsu Class: Defensive Range: --- Effect: Allows the Rinnegan User to mold chakra for techniques, when in physical contact with the King of Hell. Technique: The King of Hell will take hold of the Rinnegan User, wrapping them in its tendril like arms. A flowing stream of chakra will enter the body of the Rinnegan User, shaped by their will, and transmitted back to the complex internal instruction systems of the Outer Path. So long as they are in contact with the King of Hell, they may mold chakra for a short period of time. Restrictions: Can be used for one turn, then requires one turn of rest, where the King of Hell releases the Rinnegan User.
