Character Profile Template
Name:
This is the section where your Character's name goes. If your name has a special meaning (Japanese or otherwise) place it here. It also doesn't hurt to explain why your character was given this name! You may post your name in Kanji, but also use words.
Alias/Title(s):
Your character may use a second name, if so post it here. Titles may be appointed by staff later on.
Clan/Bloodlimit:
If you've chosen "Clan" or "Bloodlimit" as a special, place it here. Your Bloodlimit takes up one special (yes, even if it places you in a clan like the Sharingan/Uchiha). Any time there are Clan techniques that require a blood-limit, it takes up one of your specials.
Height:
Your characters height. BE REALISTIC. No characters over eight feet tall.
Weight:
Your characters weight. BE REALISTIC. Don't set ridiculous weights for your character, especially if they're ninja.
Age:
Your characters age. No characters younger than eight years old. Old Characters are welcome, but again, BE REALISTIC.
Gender::
Your characters Sex/Gender. It is a basic question.
Nationality:
The country where you character was born.
Village:
The village your character currently resides in.
Specials and Subspecials:
At character creation, you may pick TWO specials and TWO sub-specials. This is ALL that your character gets, so choose wisely. You can double up on your specialties/sub-specialties, meaning, you CAN go into TWO Bloodlimits, TWO Clans, TWO Religions, or be able to summon from TWO Summon Families. Having access to SEALS as a specialty means you are capable of learning all seals, if you have enough training points for them, so you do not need to double up on it.
You can also go into TWO ANBU Factions, or TWO species of ANIMAL COMPANIONS, though Instrumentalist, Puppetry, and Herbalist allow you access to as many techniques as you can train into.
Specialties are: BLOODLIMITS, CLANS, SEALS, RELIGIONS, or SUMMONS
Sub-Specialties are: INSTRUMENTALIST, ANIMAL COMPANIONS, ANBU, PUPPETRY or HERBALIST
ESPECIALLY IF YOU'RE DOUBLING UP ON SPECIALTIES/SUB-SPECIALTIES...EXPLAIN in GOOD detail how you manages to get two of the same type of special ability.
State whether your character is a ninja or Non-ninja here. If they are a Non-Ninja, state there job here.
Personal Alignment:
You have a choice of 9 alignments, please see the alignments thread within the N/F characters section. Thankyou.
Alignment Names:

- Lawful neutral

Appearance:
This should be one of the larger sections of your profile. Even if you provide a picture (which is always nice, please respect the size limits provided on the information board!), all members creating a character must provide AT LEAST 3 paragraphs explaining there characters appearance. Display that writing talent!
Personality:
Another large section, this should also be a rather large section of your profile. State your characters personality in detail, describe motivations for their behavior and basically let us know WHY they are the way that they are. Does your character respect Law and Order? Are they bent on world domination? Do they not care either way? Tell us!
Releases:
Ninja start off with TWO releases. You CAN sacrifice one release to gain one extra "D" rank technique. This will be added to your total number of CC points.
Affinity:
This basically means "what your character is naturally good at" or naturally inclined to be able to perform. When a character has a single Affinity, (Like Ninjutsu) this sometimes referred to as a 'Pure' Affinity.
A Ninjutsu Affinity means that the character cannot learn "B" "A" or "S" Rank Taijutsu or Genjutsu. Can go into a total of 6 Releases.
A Genjutsu Affinity means that the user cannot learn "B" "A" or "S" Rank Taijutsu or Ninjutsu. Can go into a total of 2 Releases.
A Taijutsu Affinity means that the user cannot learn "B" "A" or "S" Rank Genjutsu or Ninjutsu. Can go into a total of 3 Releases.
A Medical Ninja Affinity means the user is INCAPABLE of using Ninjutsu. The user cannot learn "B" "A" or "S" Rank Non-medical Taijutsu or Genjutsu. Cannot develop a release.
Nin/Gen Affinity meants that the user cannot learn"C" "B" "A" or "S" Rank Taijutsu. Can go into a total of 4 Releases.
Nin/Tai Affinity means that the user cannot learn "C" "B" "A" or "S" Rank Genjutsu. Can go into a total of 4 Releases.
Med/Gen Affinity means that the user cannot learn "C" "B" "A" or "S" Rank Non-medical Taijutsu. Cannot develop a Release.
Med/Tai Affinity means that the user cannot learn "C" "B" "A" or "S" Rank Genjutsu. Cannot develop a Release.
User CANNOT have a Tai/Gen Affinity, as the two styles are incompatible with each other.
Primary Weapon:
This is where you state your characters main weapon, if they use one. If you are an Instrumentalist, leave this slot open, as your instrument takes up a primary weapon slot. Once you reach "C" Rank, you are allowed to carry two primary weapons.
Secondary Weapon Pouch:
All characters are allowed a secondary weapons pouch with 5 slots. State which weapons you are placing into each slot. Consult the weapons index to learn about secondary weapons.
Strengths:
Your characters personal strengths. Are they brave? Loving? Loyal? Intelligent? No one-word answers, explain just what makes them worthwhile.
Weaknesses:
Your characters personal weaknesses. Are they cowardly? Hateful? Dishonest? Stupid? No one-word answers, explain just what character flaws could contribute to their downfall.
History:
The largest section of the profile, give us the history of your character. Where do they come from and what happened to them? When and why did they become a ninja? Not become a ninja? At least 5 paragraphs explaining everything you can about your characters history. Users creating into a bloodlimit are expected to write 6 paragraphs detailing who their character is, and how they feel about their place in the clan, learning clan beliefs, etc.
You will then create four seperate posts. ONE for Genjutsu. ONE for Ninjutsu. ONE for Taijutsu. And ONE for your Purchases. These are the posts you will add to every time you learn a new jutsu or skill, or buy something from the shops. When creating a profile, state whether or not the skills listed are Freebies or not.
Above your jutsu, indicate how many of your CP points are going towards each jutsu, and total them in the end. Following all of these guidelines will make your acceptance go MUCH faster. You may use the CBOX or PM Staff to request that your profile be graded.
Remember: TWO Free Specialties, TWO Free Sub-Specialties, TWO Free Releases.
