UNIVERSAL PUPPETEERING OVERVIEW The Puppet Technique is a unique ninjutsu fighting style; this jutsu uses strings of chakra to control puppets like marionettes. Any number of chakra strings can be used to control a puppet, but users with more skill can use fewer strings per puppet. True masters often demonstrate the ability to control entire puppets perfectly using just one string. While most puppeteers would normally be able to control ten puppets at most (one per finger), there are rumors of shinobi who undergoe modifications that turn themselves into puppets, allowing them to control 10 puppets per finger. Apart from being used to control marionettes, the chakra strings can be attached to other objects, allowing the user to control, or at the very least disrupt, other things. They can even be manipulated to control another person. The strings can be made invisible. This technique has few weaknesses: the Puppet technique is a long range style, meaning that the puppeteers are weak against close range fighters. Since most puppeteer use his or her hands to manipulate the puppets, if their hands are disabled, then the technique can be neutralized. Also, while controlling the puppet, the user is wide open if the opponent bypasses the puppet. For this reason, puppeteers avoid hand to hand battle, relying almost exclusively on their puppets instead.

Puppets come in a variety of shapes and sizes; most hand-crafted by the very shinobi who use them. In special cases, craftsman can be commissioned to create unique marionettes, complete with seals, hidden compartments, and traps built right in, though this is expensive.
Puppets are divided into classes that pertain to their size, and the amount controlled. A puppets size allows it to carry more items inside of it. A puppets size and rank are determined by the size and rank of the charater using them. Character are allowed to choose puppets as a specialty, provided they are capable of molding chakra. The puppet classes are as follows:
Class "E"-Tiny (1 Foot to 3 Feet)-without modification, begins with 5 slots. Class "D"-Small (3 Feet to 6 Feet)-without modification, begins with 10 slots. Class "C"-Medium (6 Feet to 12 Feet)-without modification, begins with 20 slots. Class "B"-Large (12 Feet to 26 Feet)-without modification, begins with 40 slots. Class "A"-Huge (26 Feet to 52 Feet)-without modification, begins with 80 slots. Class "S"-Gargantuan (52 Feet to 108 Feet)-without modification, begins with 160 Slots
For each extra puppet, you must undergo the "Puppet Control" training of the same rank, and also purchase the materials to build your puppet, then have it assembled by one of the puppet masters. If this seems to costly to assemble a simple puppet...don't worry! The puppet masters have assembled a group of puppet shells made of low-grade material that anyone is capable of purchasing. You can also purchase modifications that can be bought from puppet shops anywhere.
