TAILED-BEASTS
Tailed Beasts are nine giant demons differentiated by the number of tails they have, with each possessing an amount from one to nine. They are also called "Chakra Monsters" (Chakura no Bakemono), giving them power that far outmatches most ninja. Due to the fact that they are essentially animals and bestial in nature, without being sealed within hosts they lack the intelligence to use their enormous powers for any real purpose. Once sealed, they gain the benefit of their jinchuuriki hosts knowledge, learning to speak and better use their massive amounts of chakra.
The use of the tailed beasts on HVRP is mostly non-cannon; aside from their general names and appearance, there will be no appearance of the Akatsuki, the beasts are out in the world and have hosts. In order to become the host of a tailed-beast, you must be able to defeat its current host, AND have the required CC to perform the sealing ritual, or convince someone else to perform it for you.
Gaining the power of a Tailed Beast gives the user a special type of CC called (TB) or Tailed Beast points. These points DO NOT count towards your CP or CC points at all, they are only used to go into Tailed Beast (TB) Jutsu. Consult the TB Jutsu index to find out what these are. The user, depending on rank and training, is able to perform (TB) Jutsu ONLY after there Chakra Pool has been reduced to 0. If the user still has CC Points, but no CP, they may use the (TB) Jutsu.
For each number of tails your beast has, the user must possess an E-Rank technique called "Mind's Strength". This technique DOES NOT pull from your TB Jutsu Pool, but instead pulls from your normal CP.
The "E" Rank "Mind's Strength" techniques are learned automatically at character creation. To learn a higher level of TB Jutsu, you will need to learn the Mind's Strength technique at the corresponding level, the number of times that pertain to your number of tails.
Example : The One-Tails will only have to learn one "E" Rank Mind's Strength in order to use there (TB) Jutsu points to perform E Rank TB Jutsu. The Nine Taills will have to learn nine "E" Rank Mind's Strength in order to use there (TB) Jutsu points to use "E" Rank TB Jutsu.
Another Example:A D Rank character starts off with a CP of 500. They are the host of the Four Tails. At D Rank, their TB Pool is at 1000.
200 (50 D Ranks X 4) of their CP will go towards learning 4 "D" Rank Mind's Strength Techniques. This will allow them use there 1000 TB Pool to go towards "D" Rank TB Jutsu.
IF THE USER HAS NOT LEARNED THE SAME NUMBER OF "MIND'S STRENGTH" TECHNIQUES AS THEY HAVE NUMBERS OF TAILS, THEY CAN ONLY PERFORM Universal Tailed Beast Jutsu.
As your rank increases and you have begun to synchronize with your Tailed Beast, the type, power, and number of TB Jutsu you can perform increases.
At "E" Rank you begin with a (TB) Jutsu Pool of 500.
At "D" Rank you have a (TB) Jutsu Pool of 1000.
At "C" Rank you have a (TB) Jutsu Pool of 1500.
At "B" Rank you have a (TB) Jutsu Pool of 2000.
At "A" Rank you have a (TB) Jutsu Pool of 2500.
At "S" Rank you have a (TB) Jutsu Pool of 3000.
The cost of (TB) Jutsu is also not the same as regular jutsu. Unlike shinobi, a Tailed Beast can ONLY use Jutsu that are the same rank or below what they are, (So Choose Wisely!).
"E" Rank (TB) Jutsu cost 150 (TB) Points.
"D" Rank (TB) Jutsu cost 250 (TB) Points.
"C" Rank (TB) Jutsu cost 500 (TB) Points.
"B" Rank (TB) Jutsu cost 650 (TB) Points.
"A" Rank (TB) Jutsu cost 800 (TB) Points.
"S" Rank (TB) Jutsu cost 1000 (TB) Points.
However, (TB) Jutsu affect ninja differently than regular jutsu. All TB Jutsu have a power level that is TWO RANKS HIGHER than the rank of the Jutsu's level (against other ninja/non-ninja/humans, against other Tailed Beasts, the amount of damage is equivalent to its rank).
An E Rank (TB) Jutsu causes a C Rank amount of Damage.
A D Rank (TB) Jutsu causes a B Rank amount of Damage.
A C Rank (TB) Jutsu causes an A Rank amount of Damage.
A B Rank (TB) Jutsu causes an S Rank amount of Damage.
An A Rank (TB) Jutsu causes S + D Rank amounts of Damage.
An S Rank (TB) Jutsu causes S + C Rank amounts of Damage.
SYNCHRONIZATION
Your level of synchronization with your Tailed-Beast is determined by the number of tails your beast has. A failure to synchronize with your tailed beast leads to an increase in the likelihood that using its power will destroy you. Every time you use a Tailed Beast Jutsu of "C" rank or over, battle moderators perform a dice roll to determine whether or not your synchronicity fails. If your synchronicity DOES fail, your character 'goes insane', causing them to be unable to perform ANY action for 3 turns. This can result in your death, so use your Tailed Beast with caution.
One Tails= 5 Percent Chance of Synchronicity Fail
Two Tails= 10 Percent Chance of Synchronicity Fail
Three Tails=15 Percent Chance of Synchronicity Fail
Four Tails=20 Percent Chance of Synchronicity Fail
Five Tails=25 Percent Chance of Synchronicity Fail
Six Tails=30 Percent Chance of Synchronicity Fail
Seven Tails=35 Percent Chance of Synchronicity Fail
Eight Tails=40 Percent Chance of Synchronicity Fail
Nine Tails=45 Percent Chance of Synchronicity Fail
Again; (TB) Points do not advance your character, and do not count towards your CP or CC Points.
