The Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist (\ Kiri no Shinobigatana Nananin Shû) is an organization consisting of only the greatest blade-wielding shinobi of their generation that Kirigakure can produce. There can only be seven members at a time, hence the name. The members of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen were the people who came from the Bloody Mist's graduation exams with the greatest battle skills. However, the members also had a great lust for power. This led many of them to defect and become missing-nin.
The Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist USUALLY have a high degree of loyalty only to each other, and throughout history, have been very high ranking shinobi criminals born in Kirigakure. It was recently discovered that the criminal TAIKEN UCHIHA killed the last living member of the Seven Swordsmen and took the blade as his own. The other sixe swords are scattered across the world, hidden, protected, feared.
In order to find one of the swords you must have staff permission.
Kubikiri Hôchô (Literally meaning "Decapitating Carving Knife"): A giant sword with a butcher-knife-like appearance, the wielder can use the hole on the blade to grab an opponent's head and decapitate them, hence the name. It has a detachable handle to make it easier to carry around. The blade is infused with a mysterious chakra aura that gives its user an enhancement to their ability to perform Taijutsu.

Tenpuku (Literally meaning "Capsizing"): A giant Kanabo, or 'Oni-Slaying' Club-like sword covered in spikes. The user must possess great strength, and Tenpuku also gives an enhancement to its users ability to perform Taijutsu. The sword is nearly 9 feet in length, and one of the largest of the seven.

Abunagaru (Literally meaning "Be Afraid Of"): A long thin field sword approximately seven feet in length. Although thin, the blade is extraordinarily sharp and double-edged. The sword gives its user a greater ability to perform specialized genjutsu.

Tanshin (Literally Meaning "Alone"): Tanshin is a large Nodachi, or field sword with an elongated handle that otherwise resembles a traditional Katan. The sword gives it user a greater ability to perform specialized genjutsu.

Samehada (鮫肌; Literally meaning "Shark skin") : Unlike a regular sword, Samehada is covered in large scales that shave or shred any surface instead of cutting it, much like a shark's skin - hence the name, and has a small skull at the tip of the handle. It is usually wrapped in bandages. The sword is able to stretch and bend, allowing it to be swung at opponents like a flail. Samehada is capable of two forms: in the first, the scales grow longer and open outwards, the hilt elongates itself, and the weapon opens a razor-teethed mouth at the end. In the second form, the sword merges with the user and transforms them into a semi-shark like form and replenishes their chakra pool. The more chakra it absorbs, the larger it gets.
Samehada, aside from shaving the opponents, has the ability to quickly consume the chakra around it, giving it a boost to the users ability to perform ninjutsu, and reducing the potency of ninjutsu attacks.

Nikusa (Literally meaning "Hatefulness"): This is also a strange sword, one that like Samehada, contributes to its users ability to perform ninjutsu. It's blade is made of pure chakra and is thought to be able to slice through any surface.

Obakiru (Literally meaning "Overkill"): This is the most coveted and sought after of the Seven Swords, and believed to be the most powerful. This sword is capable of 'Cutting Through Jutsu', and can be used for Five turns to completely negate attacks of ANY rank before having to be re-sheathed. Failure to re-sheathe results in a chakra overload and the death of the user.
