Economy
The economy of the Shinobi world is built on the most basic of principles; an underlying respect for fair trade and exchange, and a buyers market that still allows each village, country, and continent to see profit. Across the expansive world of HVRP, there are various General Stores, Specialty Shops, Hospitals, and Eating Establishments who are more than willing to sell you quality goods at a fair price, or buy items off of you that you no longer wish to keep. Each of these business is run by a series of universally accpeted rules, rules that are NOT meant to be broken.
Be warned: The shopkeepers DO NOT appreciate anyone trying to circumvent these guidelines.
NPC Shopkeepers
Each shop is run by a NPC (Non-Playable Character) Shopkeeper who handles customer transactions. ONLY Staff are permitted to deal with Shop transactions. The NPC Shopkeepers cannot become a part of anyone's personal RP or storyline; their only function is the running of the store. NPC Shopkeepers cannot be killed, you cannot fall in love and carry on a relationship with them, you cannot kidnap or otherwise harm these characters. You cannot trick them or fool them as a way to cheat the establishment or steal from the store.
If you DO attempt to break any of these rules, then consider yourself warned: All NPC Shopkeepers are S-Rank Ninjas who possess the Rinnegan Eye and have learned every ninja technique in existence. They will use their abilities to protect their store, and once they have declared you a threat to the general peace and safety of the shop, your character becomes death enabled.
Do not start fights within the shops or ramen bars, as you will be forcibly removed by the NPC shopkeepers. Start a fight, and they will finish it.
Availability
Not all shops will have EVERYTHING. Shop restrictions are placed in the first thread, beneath the section titled: "Inventory".
Buying In Bulk
Buying in bulk (just like in real life) offers you DISCOUNTS! If you place a large enough purchase order, shops are capable of offering you a reduced price, because they're making a good amount of money on your purchase. The same concept applies to all HVRP shops.
When buying more than one hundred items in a single purchase, a five percent discount from the total price will be awarded to you, meaning that you pay ninety-five percent of the total price.
This percent increases by five for every additional one hundred items that is added to the purchase, to a maximum of a fifteen percent discount. Meaning, if you buy three hundred items or five hundred items, you will receive a fifteen percent discount either way.
Resale
Businesses have to make a profit, so if you wish to sell your items, the value you recieve for your sale will ALWAYS be lower than the price YOU paid for it. Shopkeepers will post their re-sale rate, and some shops have better rates than others, depending on the state of the village/town/country economy. Resale rates will be posted in the first thread of the Shops.
