MONK A monk is a person who practices religious asceticism, living either alone or with any number of monks, whilst always maintaining some degree of physical separation from those not sharing the same purpose. The concept is ancient and can be seen in many religions and in philosophy. Scattered across each of the great and minor nations are temples dedicated to the pursuit of a higher degree of understanding as it pertains to chakra. Each temple is dedicated to a different release nature, and within that release, developing more peaceful ways of utilizing their power in the interest of maintaining peace. The monks within are often kind and polite to all they meet, always seeking more knowledge. When they travel outside of the temple, they are free to roam the world, interacting with others and striving for harmony and enlightenment. They do however, learn an appreciation for and understanding of the martial arts, able to defend themselves if placed in a position where violence is the only answer, though this is always a last resort. Restrictions: - Monk cannot have more than one release.
- Monks may learn all Release Ninjutsu of their release, but must learn jutsu IC from a Ninja.
- Monks, like all Non-ninja, are capabe of traveling the world without having to recieve permission from anyone.
- Monks begin with 5,000 Ryo, as opposed to the 1,000 awarded to ninja.
- All Temple Techniques can only be learned by Monks of that respective Temple.

SAMURAI Guardians of the lands outside of the major nations, Samurai are the protectors of village leaders and the personal police force over areas where shinobi are scarce. They are typically seen in heavy plate-armor akin to traditional samurai. They also wear helmets with face masks. They are armed with swords, however, the number of blades worn by a single warrior is unusual, going as high as four. In battle, they have been known to use these swords in a dangerous style called Satsujinken. Although little is known about the abilities of the samurai except that they are sword-users, it has been revealed that they are capable of utilizing chakra, apparently by channeling it through their swords. This allows them to extend the reach of their swords as well as attack at a distance by swinging them and releasing crescents of energy at their targets. The samurai have also shown form manipulation, as the chakra blades they form into many types, such as buzz-saws, broad swords, and axes. Restrictions: - Samurai may have a maximum of two releases.
- Only Samurai may go into the specialized Samurai Fighting Style and Chakra Cutting Styles.
- Like all Non-Ninja, Samurai are free to travel the world without having to receive permission.
- Samurai are able to begin with a maximum of three primary weapons.

TRAVELING MERCHANT A merchant is a businessman who trades in commodities that he didn't produce himself, in order to earn a profit. Merchants can be of two types: 1.A wholesale merchant operates in the chain between producer and retail merchant. Some wholesale merchants only organize the movement of goods rather than move the goods themselves. 2.A retail merchant or retailer, sells commodities to consumers (including businesses). A shop owner is a retail merchant. A merchant class characterizes many pre-modern societies. Its status can range from high (the members even eventually achieving titles such as that of merchant prince or nabob) to low, as in Chinese culture, owing to the presumed distastefulness of profiting from "mere" trade rather than from labor or the labor of others as in agriculture and craftsmanship. Traveling merchants have free-range to roam the land, selling wares to ninja and non-ninja that they meet on their travels. Traders make friends everywhere, and even the most evil of men will usually hesitate to kill a merchant, as he may be of use later on in their journeys. Restrictions: - Merchants are incapable of gaining technique masteries.
- Merchants may be given special access to enter Hidden Villages.
- Merchants begin with 50,000 Ryo, which they can use to purchase the goods that they sell.
- Merchants receive a 10% discounts at all shops.
- Anything a merchant buys, they can sell, for any price they wish.
- Merchants, like all Non-Ninja, have free-reign to go anywhere they wish.
- Merchants are not death enabled until THEY choose to start a physical confrontation with another character, no matter where they are.
- Traveling Merchants receive hospital services for free.

GEISHA Geisha (芸者?), Geiko (芸子) or Geigi (芸妓) are traditional, female Japanese entertainers whose skills include performing various Japanese arts such as classical music and dance. These 'arts' include but are not limited to the act of prostitution, though most Geisha prefer to be legitimate entertainers. Though not always associated with the act of prostitution, eventually, the term "geisha girl" became a general word for any female Japanese prostitute or worker and included bar hostesses and streetwalkers. In HVRP, prostitution is ILLEGAL everywhere except for the Red-Light District of each country. This does not mean you are forbidden from engaging in your "craft" in other places, it simply means that you can be stopped by ANBU or Hokage and forced to leave a particular village, IF THEY CATCH YOU. However, given the right ANBU or Hokage, you may be able to "negotiate" your way out of it. Restrictions: - Geisha only start out with 500 Ryo, as opposed to the regular 1,000.
- If you want to be a male Geisha, go right ahead.
- Geisha like all Non-Ninja, have the ability to freely travel the world without having to receive permission, unless they have developed other relationship obligations IC.
- Geisha are not Death Enabled until they actively begin a conflict.
- Only Geisha are capable of learning S Rank "Oroike No Jutsu (Sexy Jutsu)".
- Geisha are capable of exchanging their "services" for anything INCLUDING Techniques, whose points are DEDUCTED from their client, so long as the client agrees.
- Geisha receive condoms at all shops for free.
- Geisha receive 50% off the price of Hospital Services.

NON-NINJA Regular non-ninja have not picked a particular non-ninja job, and are simply considered as citizens or regular people of the particular country they wish to become a part of. Non-ninja do not start off in hidden villages, though they are not restricted from normal travel. Drawbacks: Regular Non-ninja start off at E-Rank, with only 250 CP. Benefits: The only benefits of being this type of Non-ninja are the freedom to travel. Non-ninja, naturally, cannot become ANBU, but have the same general special/sub-special restrictions as ninja. If the user wishes to mold chakra, they must state where they learned this technique from in their history. Non-ninja start off with 2,000 Ryo instead of the typical 1,000.
